Birch Bay Chamber Visitor Information Center’s 2014 Record Setting Day and Month.
Sometimes there needs to be a reality check for what is actually happening these days in Birch Bay. Here is a update from our President, Dave Hiller.

Tuesday, August 5th a gorgeous sunny day in Birch Bay. Many visitors were in town following a British Columbia Day, Canadian long weekend. We have had many 100 plus
days in the past, but this day was a record breaker! 113 visitors kept our 2 volunteers,
Wayne Diaz and Karen O’Dell and Sarah, our Chamber Coordinator very busy. Of those
113 Visitors, 14 US States were represented: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and Louisiana. As well as 8 Countries: USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Holland, France, Germany and Australia. There was a couple visiting who was in need of a place to stay, all of the local Birch Bay accommodations were full…everything!

The month of July was also a record setting month for 2014, with 1554 signed in Visitors
at the VIC (Visitor Information Center). We’d like to thank all of are hard working volunteers who make this possible and all of our Chamber Members for their support!

The Birch Bay Chamber Visitor Information Center is located at 7900 Birch Bay Drive, and we are open Saturday – Sunday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
