The Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that its February meeting luncheon meeting will be held at the new CJ’s restaurant This month we will have a panel of speakers talking about the Birch Bay Drive & Pedestrian Facility. On the panel will be Roland Middleton, John Gargett and Kathy Berg. Topics will include the status of the project, as well as impacts on business and the community. Dave Hiller, Chamber President, will moderate the panel and requests anyone with questions to send a note to him at email@example.com.
And when we gather (both members and guests) for lunch this Tuesday, Feb. 19, bring a can or package of food to help someone who is hungry and can’t afford food in support of Water’s Edge Church’s Food Drive for the Blaine Food Bank.
People begin showing up around 1130 for socializing and we start our meeting at 1200. Our business is completed (usually) by 1220, 1230 at the latest, and then we will have our speakers.
This month’s meeting will be held February 19th, at CJ’s Beach House, 7878 Birch Bay Drive, Birch Bay, WA 98230. CJ’s is a new member of the Chamber, and we look forward to holding our monthly membership meeting here. Lunch will be provided by CJ’s Beach House at our monthly price of $10.00 which you will pay at the door. You will have a choice of French Onion Soup & Caesars Salad, a Fresh Ground Beef Hamburger, or Asian Chicken Mandarin Salad. Remember, networking begins at 11:30 AM, the business meeting starts at 12:00, and our speakers will start between 12:20 and 12:30.
