And contrary to todays weather, tom0rrow is supposed to be:

So fear n0t, the weather is going to be great….or at least normal. Come on out, you cannot have a bad day. And, here is the run down on what is happening:
This parade for this years BakerBirchBay.Com Discovery Days is at 11:00 AM, next Saturday, July 21 in Birch Bay! This is the 33rd year for Discovery Days and it is great weekend for the entire family.
Fun activities abound with the grand parade Saturday down Birch Bay Drive (11:00 AM). The parade starts at the corner of Alderson and Birch Bay Drive. If you would like to be in the parade, remember, people will start lining up beginning around 10:00. We will also have a review booth this year in front of the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce where both Praise 106.5 and KGMI will be broadcasting live. Following the parade, there is the annual arts and crafts fair (10:00 am – 7:00 pm Saturday & Sunday). There are nearly 60 vendors this year as as well as a variety of food vendors. We also have a number of new vendors and include Henna Tattooing, handmade Jewelry, Paintings and Artwork, Accent Lighting, Home Improvement, the American Legion food wagon, Kettle Corn, kids games and activities, and a whole lot more. So load up the car, bring the family and come on out!
AND – IF YOU ARE WONDERING WHAT TO DO IN ADDITION TO DISCOVERY DAYS: Run up to North Whatcom Fire and Rescue where they will be conducting an open house on Saturday from 1300 (1:00 PM for you non-official time people) and 1600 (4:00 PM for you non-official time people). This is going to be great, and I know I am going up there, then I am going to check out the 60 + vendors.
