It looks like this year Birch Bay has benefited from the elections. The new County Executive, Jack Lowes is a Birch Bay resident and has pledged his committment to continuing the work of outgoing County Executive Pete Kremin to helping with both the Berm Project and getting permanent Restrooms for our community.
Speaking of Pete Kremin, he won his race to be on the County Council as did our Sheriff Bill Elfo. Both Pete and Bill have been, and will continue to be, great supporters of Birch Bay.
In addition to these three, all the Candidates for the races for our community pledged at the Candidates Forum sponsored by the Birch Bay Steering Committee, the Northern Light and the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce both recognized the importance of Birch Bay to regional tourism and pledged to work with us.
