One of the projects this past year has been the joint marketing effort between the Mt. Baker Chamber of Commerce and the Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce in order to promote both areas, especially during the off-seasons for both.
This project has been led by the Mt. Baker Chamber who applied for and received the grant funding to undertake this project from Whatcom County Tourism monies. Since the project began, a number of items have been undertaken, including a new BakerBirchBay.Com website, a coupon book for both Birch Bay and Mt.
