The road is blocked, the vendor booths and stage are up and the crowds are starting to gather for the Birch Bay Music Festival located between the Bay Cafe & C Shop at the corner of Alderson Road and Birch Bay Drive.
This Saturday, August 4th, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, it is going to be a HOT DAY in Birch Bay, both for the weather (81) and for the music, entertainment and vendors at the Birch Bay Music Festival that again benefits WeSnip.Org, the local no or low cost spay and neuter program.
With 9 local bands, a Children’s Train Ride, over 40 Vendors, a Silent Auction, nail trimming provided by Dirty Dog Wash, Janell Summer Photography offering pet photographs, Camelot Ranch Alpacas with a petting area, a beer and wine garden, K-9 demos by law enforcement (12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m.), special guest speakers Sheriff Elfo at noon and Whatcom County Council member Barbara Brenner at 12:30 p.m. and sunny, clear, 81 (light wind) how could you not come and have a good time?
Don’t forget to get there early so you can pick up your limited edition Birch Bay Music Festival T-Shirts that are being made locally here and available for only $20.00.
